Mission Statement
Taylor Made Community is a Detroit-based 501(c)(3) mission-driven nonprofit focused on youth development, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and community support. We build real skills, real confidence, and real opportunity through hands-on programs and neighborhood resources.
Our promise: Every dollar helps create safer, stronger futures, one young person and one block at a time.
Why Daily Matters
A daily gift (even $1–$10) gives the Foundation steady support to:
- Plan programs without delays
- Restock supplies on time
- Respond quickly when the community needs help
Make It Simple:
- $5/day = $150/month toward youth supplies, meals, and mentorship materials.
- $10/day = $300/month toward workshop costs and community support.
Who We Are
Taylor Made Community was created to bring resources, mentorship, and real-life skills to the community with a special focus on Detroit youth. We believe young people thrive when they have consistent guidance, safe spaces, and opportunities to learn how to build something of their own.
What We Do
We serve youth and families through:
- Youth mentorship and leadership
- Entrepreneurship skill-building (from idea to launch)
- Community food support and pantry restocks
- Care packages for families, seniors, and neighbors in need
- Local partnerships to strengthen support systems
Our Vision
A community where young people are confident, prepared, and supported and where neighborhoods have what they need to thrive.
Our Values
Community. Consistency. Creativity. Accountability. Opportunity.
